Prime Rib Step by Step
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
 - 2 Tablespoons ground mustard
 - 8-10 garlic cloves, minced
 - 1 Heaping Tablespoon fresh thyme
 - 1 Heaping Tablespoon fresh chopped rosemary
 - 2 Tablespoons Steak Salt
 - 1 Tablespoon coarse ground pepper
 - Cooking Twine
 
- Combine ingredients
 - Preheat oven to 500 degrees and roast prime rib for 15 minutes.
 - Reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue cooking for 10-12 minutes per pound.
 - Tent with foil if the prime rib browns too quickly.
 - Remove roast from oven 5-10 degrees below your desired internal temperature, loosely tent with foil and allow to rest for at least 30 minutes.
 - Remove bones with a sharp knife, slice thin & serve!
