About This Recipe

An elevated take on chimichurri: crisp apple notes balanced with herbs and spice.  Perfect for your autumn chicken, pork or steak. 

Apple Chimichurri

  • 1 bunch Italian parsley, chopped
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup to ½ cup walnut oil
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 apple, minced
  • 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ tsp Steak Salt
  • 1 tsp minced sage leaves
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ - ½ tsp red pepper flakes
  1. Finely chop the parsley, garlic and sage (or use a blender or food processor and pulse several times.)  Transfer to a medium bowl.
  2. Next stir in the remaining ingredient.  Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready ready to use.
