Jalapeno Popper Smash Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Fairway Smash Burgers
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked 
  • 6 slices of pepper jack
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 jalapenos, thinly sliced
  • 3 brioche burger buns
  • cream cheese
  • Fairway Steak Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat griddle to medium high to high heat.   
  2. Season smash burger patties with Steak Salt.  Place patties on the preheated griddle.  Top patties with onions & jalapenos.
  3. Using a burger press or a stiff spatula give the patties a press. To prevent sticking use parchment paper before smashing.  Once the burger is smashed wait a few seconds before flipping.
  4. Next top with pepper jack cheese.  Once melted, double stack and place on burger bun.  Top each burger with 2 slices of bacon, add cream cheese on the inside of the top bun and serve hot.
